The REiNOVA project was present at the HOFEX 2019 International Fair, May 7-10, which is one of the largest and most important food and catering fairs on the Asian continent.
HOFEX is a biennial fair held in one of the leading Asian decision-making centers – Hong Kong. Attending trade shows is an important step for any company that wants to opt for diversification and export to international markets. About 2660 exhibitors from 74 nations had the opportunity to promote their products and services in the 66,000 m2 exhibition area.
The projection and knowledge that comes from this participation are important in order to measure the interest of these potential clients and to identify early on the cultural barriers that must be overcome.
During the 4 days of HOFEX, the REiNOVA project had the opportunity to test before the market the 36 products developed jointly with the companies and entrepreneurs participating in the project.
The participation was positive, because despite the large number of products that attracted the attention of visitors, it was possible to obtain the opinion of potential consumers through proof surveys of some of the products, but also by observing the image and packaging of all products present. , as well as knowing and understanding the market approach of competing products.
In this way, it was possible to draw several conclusions that will benefit the next phase of improvement of the tested products, and to consolidate the decision making process so that they become more attractive to their target markets and significantly increase their external market entry capacity.
