The REINOVA project was present at the international food fair “Alimentaria & Horexpo Lisboa 2019”, which took place between the 24th and the 26th March.
Throughout the project we performed training sessions for the innovation and generation of ideas for microenterprises and entrepreneurs in the sector, and we defined and studied target markets for the participating products.
After all the work developed, we considered that ALIMENTARIA & HOREXPO it’s the ideal environment to test the reaction of the market to the 37 products that were the targets of innovation processes in a work carried out by our research centres in close collaboration with the companies supported and since is an international market of reference and with a special emphasis on food innovation.
The interest and demand for our products was very high, and a constant flow of visitors was maintained over the course of the 3 days, demonstrating interest not only in trying some of the products but also in knowing more about them or even establishing possible business contacts.
This exhibition allowed us to analyse which products obtained the most interest from potential consumers whose innovation attracted the attention of its target.
We have been honoured with the visit to our stand by Dr. Luís Medeiros Vieira, Portuguese Agriculture and Food Secretary of State, who was very interested in the concept of our project.
